The short Inca trail just for two days is the best choice for visitors whose takes regular exercise and of course also limited time this trek offers a wonderful day walking over a single path designed by our ancestors. It starts at 2100 meters above sea level (6890 feet) km 104 the lower altitude until 2700 meters above sea level (8829 feet) sun gate the highest point on the walking trail ending at 2400 meters above sea level (7874 feet) so there is no reason to scare about the acclimatization and altitude sickness.

We will pick you up at the hotel to take a train so after 02 hours train ride we get off at Km 104 station where is the place to start the walking on the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. Crossing the Urubamba River we reach Chachabamba a small archeological site worth visiting. After trekking uphill during two hours we reach a large archaeological site located in a beautiful natural mountain setting called Wiñaywayna (2,650 m.a.s.l) (8,690 ft). Afterward we will arrive to the Intipunku, (Sun Gate) (2,700 m.a.s.l) (8,829 ft) where we get our first views of Machu Picchu. Then we continue walking down until Aguas Calientes (2,040 m.a.s.l) (6,692 ft) where we will enjoy the hot spring spending the night in a comfortable hotel.
We wake up early to have a breakfast at the hotel afterward we return by bus to Machupicchu citadel (2,430 m.a.s.l) (7,970 ft) getting an extensive guided tour. Then you will have free time to explore the old city by yourself and of course you can climb until Huaynapicchu also (2750 m.a.s.l) (9,022 ft). On afternoon we take an exciting train ride along the Urubamba valley arriving to Cusco after 04 hours.
