This trek package let you combine two of the most popular walking route in Cusco region which are Salkantay and Inca Trail in fact Salkantay route is linking on fifth day to the famous Inca Trail ending in Machu Picchu it takes seven days surrounded by magnificent and great sceneries.
The trek is a difficult than the Inca Trail. It is organized with horses for four days to carry food and equipment on day five will be organized with porters because horses is not allowed into the Inca Trail.

We will pick you up 6:00 o'clock in morning at the hotel afterward we leave Cusco city driving into the Limatambo valley for around three hours till Mollepata village (2,800 m.a.s.l) (9,186 ft.) located at upper hill of Apurimac valley so is also the point where we start the walking through the Andean forests after a couple of hours we reach Marcocasa camp site.
After an early breakfast, we start walking up with direction of Soraypampa Andean community (4,000 m.a.s.l)(13,123 ft) along the walking scenery we have the chance to enjoy the view of the majestic Salkantay and Humantay sacred mountains capped with snow peaks.
This day we get the highest point of the route (4,520 m.a.s.l) (14,845 ft) where we will have the opportunity to enjoy the extraordinary and marvelous snow covered mountain named Salkantay (5,600 m.a.s.l) (18,372 ft) after a short break on the pass we descend toward the Inca Canal.
Walking through the Inca Canal remaining it leads us to Paucarcancha and Llulluchapampa where we will camp.
Today we ascend the second highest pass of the route which is Warmiwañuska at 4,200 m.a.s.l (13,780 ft).Afterward we descend to Pakaymayu Valley and then to Sayacmarka camp site.
This day we walk through marvelous scenery in which we will visit several Inca’s remaining.
Very early in the morning we will start the walking till to reach the great Intipunku where we get the first striking view of Machupicchu citadel.We will enjoy a guided tour and then a bus down to Aguas Calientes town, where we take the train back to Cusco.
