The Lares Trek is one of most typical and colorful walking route in Peru it will take you into unknown valleys where few visitors have ventured so far. On this trip you have the chance to enjoy traditional Andean Life of the inhabitants as well as the typical system of working by local farmers along the walk.

Hotels pick up to get up our private transportation driving through the Sacred Valley until Lares village it takes for around three hours. Once in Lares town you enjoy the outdoor hot springs spending in there for two hours approximately. After a relaxing bath we walk for three hours we get Wacahuasi (3,200 m.a.s.l) (10,498 feet) community where you have the chance to observe the skills and techniques of ponchos and other garments makers.

After a healthy breakfast we walk up to the pass of Ipsaycocha (4,350 m.a.s.l) ( 14,272 ft) getting an amazing view of the mountain range of Vilcabamba for example The Pumahuanca ice mountain ( 5,330 m.a.s.l)( 17,487 ft), Sahuasiray and Pitusiray after a break we start the walking down to Ipsaycocha lake where we camp (4,200m).

Funny day waits for us on great descending into the valley eventually arriving to the community of Willoc community (3,200 m.a.s.l) (10,498 ft) where we enjoy a lunch surrounded by a beautiful view of the valley. After two hours on walk we get Pumamarca Andean community where we observe some Inca’s agricultural terraces so then we arrive to Ollantaytanbo visiting the archeological complex. On afternoon we catch the train with direction to Aguas Calientes town.

We wake up early to have a breakfast at the hotel afterward we take a bus to Machupicchu citadel (2,430 m.a.s.l) (7,970 ft) getting an extensive guided tour. Then you will have free time to explore the old city by yourself and of course you can climb up till Huaynapicchu also (2,750 m.a.s.l) (9,022 ft). On afternoon we take an exciting train ride along the Urubamba valley arriving to Cusco after 04 hours.
