HUCHUYQOSQO 01 DAY

INTRODUCTION

One of the most impressive walking days close to Cusco city it is over original Inca’s trail which will take you mountains up to get the marvelous old building of Huchuyqosqo. This package takes around eight hours walking starting on Chinchero town where you have the chance to have a direct contact with Andean life.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: CUSCO / HUCHUYQOSQO / CUSCO

We Drive from Cusco over the main road at north of Sacred Valley of the Inca till the Piuray lagoon and Tauca community 3762 m.a.s.l  (12343 ft) where we start the walking up to Pucajasa Mountain Pass 4393 m.a.s.l (14413 ft), where we get a panoramic view of the Urubamba mountain range. After a short walking descent we arrive to Huchuyqosqo archeological site getting guided information. Then we start to descent to Lamay town where a transport will drive us to Cusco city.
