MACHUPICCHU FULL DAY
INTRODUCTION
The Town of Machu Picchu is connected to the city of Cusco ("the world's navel") by a railway system that joins both tourist resorts. The trip takes three hours approximately, through paradise-like landscapes, covering a distance of 110 kilometers, with daily frequencies and numerous options regarding timetables, categories and fare.
Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary is strategically situated at the top of the Machu Picchu Mountain, at 2,350 meters above sea level (7,710 ft) in Vilcabamba Mountain Range's western slope. The Vilcabamba Mountain Range is bordered by the Apurimac and Urubamba Rivers. The Historic Sanctuary is specifically located in the Valley of the Urubamba River (Also known as Vilcanota) at the lower part of the Holy Valley of the Incas, where you can access the high forest.

ITINERARY
DAY 01: CUSCO/ MACHUPICCHU TOWN
We start with an early transfer from your hotel to the Cusco train station to take a train riding to Aguas Calientes town. The train ride takes from 3 to 4 hours passing through the Sacred Valley of the Incas never seen when it took buy car and picturesque landscapes. On arrival to Aguas Calientes town we take a short bus trip to Machu Picchu citadel for around 30 minutes. Once there you will enjoy a guided tour for two hours where you will explore the most important and interesting places then we take again bus down to Aguas Calientes town and train back to Cusco city.
