TITICACA LAKE
INTRODUCTION
Titicaca Lake is one of the most fascinating lakes in the world. It is located at high altitude (3,800 m.a.s.l)(12,467 ft)between Peru and Bolivia exactly in Puno city; it is definitely a perfect choice to get an unforgettable experience at the Andean life. Titicaca holds large populations of water birds, Totora aquatic plant used to make floating islands inhabited by a notable population whose are living on there still keeping great part of costumes and habits from our ancestors.

ITINERARY
You will be picked up from your hotel to lead you till Puno’s pot to board a boat towards the Uros floating island where you meet the residents of the island known as the “water tribe” who’s built its own Island periodically adding new layers of totora reeds, which grows in the lake. Afterward you will be led the colorful Taquile island, where the inhabitants keeps its customs, religious and folkloric traditions, so you will enjoy a typical trout dishes for lunch and the handcraft fine quality at the plaza also the Inca’s remaining in a short walking on afternoon return to Puno city.
