KNOW MACHUPICCHU BOOKING CONDITIONS

We accept bookings subject to the following conditions:

Contract with KNOW MACHUPICCHU TREK TOUR OPERATOR:

 Clients booking by web or e-mail will be deemed to have read and accepted the Booking Conditions set out below. THEREFORE, PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY.

KNOW MACHUPICCHU TREK TOUR OPERATOR will send the booking form for required package to your e-mail.

Payment for your tour:

1. -To make a booking with KNOW MACHUPICCHU TREK TOUR OPERATOR (the ‘Company’) requires a completed and signed booking form together with a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost of your tour, per person per tour or full payment for travel within 03 days after completed the required booking.  

Booking form will be send at your email address. (It depends on the tour required)

2. - The balance or final payment must be paid to the Company at your arrival it is in cash (USD or Peruvian currency SOLES) not later than 03 days before departure on the required tour.

Discounts

Discounts are only for kids and students (younger than 25 years old) with the valid International Student Card ISIC

Changes by the Client:

Any changes to the original departure dates must be confirmed in writing by the person signing the booking form and whilst every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate changes without extra payment, their availability cannot be guaranteed.  

The most probably for a late change departure requires for a plus payment which is according the required package tour.

Cancellation by the Client:

The Client may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to the Company in writing. Of course rule about the non refundable deposit is because it will be taken to pay any required arrangements in advance.

 Changes and Cancellation by KNOW MACHUPICCHU TREK TOUR OPERATOR:

The Company changes and cancels a tour caused by major force circumstances such as protests, strikes, natural disasters and any other which cause damage to the client.

Travel Insurance:

The Client MUST take out suitable travel insurance in order to take part in a tour organized by the Company. Clients are wholly responsible for arranging their own insurance. A suitable insurance policy should provide adequate cover for medical expenses arising through illness or accident prior to or during the holiday and loss of holiday monies through cancellation and curtailment of the holiday for insurable reasons.

Passports, Visas and Vaccinations:

Clients must ensure that they are aware of all relevant passport and visa requirements and those they allow adequate time to obtain them. Please note that many countries require that passports are valid for six months beyond the period of the Client’s stay. Requirements can change and it is the Clients’ responsibility to ensure that they comply with current passport, visa and health requirements and take all necessary documents with them to gain access to any country or region which forms part of the tour. The Client will be solely responsible for any cost, loss or damage which he or the Company incurs as a result of a failure to obtain all necessary passports, visas and/or vaccinations.   

Special Requests:

If the Client has any special requests, he should inform the Company at the time of booking. 

Payment Options

1. International Wire / Bank Transfer

If you have online banking you should be able to transfer money from your home or work computer. If not, you could call your bank or take our details into your local branch and they will do it for you. Transfers generally take between 2 and 48 hours to reach us, at which time we will forward on a receipt of payment to you by email.

 2. Western Union Money Transfer

Quick, Easy and Economical!

Click here to visit the Western Union website to find your country of residence, and your nearest office. You may be able to make your payment online or by telephone, or you will need to visit a Western Union office. Payments can be made using a VISA or MASTERCARD (credit or debit) for online or phone payments, as well as via cash at a Western Union office. You will need to state the name of the person that will receive the transfer (please ask your travel consultant) and the city (Cusco, Peru) where the collection will be made. You will then receive a MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) which we require in order to collect the payment.
